Bio

Rania Dghaim received her Ph.D. in the area of Organometallic Catalysis. She is primarily interested in the development of new methods for the synthesis of biologically relevant molecules via transition-metal catalysis. Her recent scholarly activities involve several projects  in the area of Environmental Health.

Research and Professional Activities

“Health Status of Children and Youth in the UAE” : this project involves the development of a cross-sectional survey that examines the general health status of the youth population in UAE through a range of health measures.  It also explores the links between childhood exposure and their health status.

“Safety Status of School Bus Vehicles in the Emirate of Dubai”: Assessment of the overall safety performance of school buses in the Emirate of Dubai and compliance to UAE policies and standards.
