Bio

My main interests lie in the field of autobiographical memory with particular emphasis on false memories and how they pertain to family histories. Through my research in New Zealand I coined a new phrase ‘disputed memories’ now has now been adopted by other memory researchers.My aim at Zayed is get students enthusiastic about learning psychology and understanding how psychology impacts everything that we do.

Research and Professional Activities

I am currently conducting research in several different fields of psychology, including health psychology, social psychology and environmental psychology. One particular area of interest is the psychological cost of being environmentally aware. A second area of interest is the psychosocial impact of living as an expatriate.
