Susanne KranzProfessor M.A. History, Southeast Missouri State University, 2004. BioSusanne Kranz is a Historian with a special interest in left-oriented activism, women’s studies, South Asia and East Germany. She joined the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Zayed University in January 2010 as an Assistant Professor. Susanne completed her M.A. in History in the U.S. where her research focused on autonomous and governmental women’s movements in communist East Germany. Her research for her Ph.D. at the University of Leeds in the U.K continued from this general interest in leftist women’s activism investigating left-oriented, party-affiliated women’s organizations in contemporary India.
