Steven GardinerAssistant Professor B.S. BioSteven Gardiner is a cultural anthropologist with a Ph.D. from Cornell University (2004). His research focuses on military institutions, nationalism, gender (particularly masculinity), and social movements. He is a veteran of the American army and worked for seven years in a human rights NGO.
