BioHas a standing administrative and academic experience in multiple institutions of higher education in the UAE: the American University of Sharja (Dean of students), the University of Dubai (Head of General Education). Has been invited to take part in multiple International, Regional and Local Research Assignments among them: the ILO, UNDP, The Social Science Research Council, The Amsterdam School for Social Science and Research, the Gulf Development Forum, the Arab Human Rights Organization, The Dubai Executive Office (also Council), and the Dubai Statistical Center. Her work focuses on labor, women, youth, civil society and family issues in the Gulf and the UAE.
