All students must meet the University’s graduation requirements. Graduation requirements for the Department of Art and Design include the completion of the eight-semester curriculum plan with a minimum GPA of 2.0, including the internship and the Capstone project, as well as achievement of the Major Learning Outcomes. All graduates complete at least 125 semester credit hours. Proficiency in English and Arabic, fulfillment of all core curriculum requirements, and satisfaction of the competencies in the Zayed University Learning Outcomes is required.

The Department of Art and Design will specifywhether or not an applicant must complete therequired COL 260 before being accepted into themajor. The department also requires that entering students achieve a grade of “C” or higher in onepractical art course.
