Tina SleimanAssistant Professor BFA Graphic Design (with Distinction), Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Art, BioPrior to joining Zayed University as an Assistant Professor in Art & Design, Tina Sleiman taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Arizona State University while working at a creative consultancy.
Her students often work with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority on applications of the “Kharareef” folktales. Her students’ work has been exhibited in Dubai and Pittsburgh, and published in Germany, through her partnership with the Hot Spots team in spring 2009. Tina’s scholarly and creative interests focus on visual culture in the Middle East and North Africa. Currently, she is co-authoring a graphic design textbook for Arab students.
