Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences at Zayed University.  Our College is a diverse collection of majors and interests.  Much of the teaching in the university's general education program, the Colloquy on Integrated Learning, takes place within the departments in the College.  In addition,  we offer three majors leading to bachelor's degrees: Art and Design, Health Science, and International Studies.  Students.  The combination of general education and major courses is designed to produce students who are not only prepared to enter their chosen professions and advance to positions of leadership, but who also have a broad awareness of the world around them.  Beyond the training they receive for their specific careers, we encourage all students to develop a love of learning and an ability to adapt to new situations, so that they will continue to be prepared to assist in the development of the United Arab Emirates.  Our faculty are fully committed to this mission, as well as to producing new knowledge and understandings in their own fields of research.  Our students are curious, hardworking, eager to learn, and focused on the future.  I invite you to learn more about the College of Arts and Sciences.
