ABP Resources

The Academic Bridge Program is very rich in resources for both students and faculty.

Firstly, the program is where students are introduced to the university's laptop environment. All students and faculty have state-of-the-art laptop computers.

To complement this technology, all classrooms are equipped with digital projectors and printers.

The abundance of technology within the Academic Bridge Program also means that students have access to a number of spesific English language learning and Web 2.0 software. To facilitate learning and to expand the classroom beyond the walls, many of the instructors within the department also utilize Blackboard, the leading courseware product.

Besides introducing students to this technology-rich environment, students also have the opportunity for self-study in the well-equipped Learning Enhancement Center (LEC). The LEC is a facility which promotes independent learning.

In addition to using a core set of textbooks written in-house and designed specifically to meet the goals and objectives of the Academic Bridge Program, teachers have access to thousands of supplemental teaching materials. Teacher specific resource rooms on each campus have many of the leading English language learning titles and also contain CD ROM, Internet, videos and DVDs.
