This course will provide a basic introduction to information literacy. At the end of this course students will be able to:
Understand the concept and value of information literacy
Develop a unique and focused research question
Use print and electronic tools successfully
Evaluate print and electronic information critically
Understand how to access and use information ethically and legally
Document research using the APA style guide
Complete a short annotated bibliography in order to demonstrate skills learned
