We
are only accepting wait list presenters at this time because
we are over subscribed.
Technology
is beginning to transform the way we teach. The rapid proliferation
of laptop environments and other e-learning practices within
UAE higher education means that practitioners can learn a
great deal from sharing best practices.
The purpose of this faculty forum is to share our best ideas through a presentation, workshop, discussion, or show and tell. The focus of the sessions must be on day-to-day classroom teaching which integrates technology rather than on theoretical issues.
Because the forum is a faculty-driven professional development initiative, no formal evaluation of proposed sessions exists. If you feel that you have a best practice worthy of sharing with your peers, it will probably be of value to this forum. Hence, proposed sessions will generally be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A major requirement for acceptance of a proposal is that it should fit within the 30 minute time allocation. In addition, forum organizers will be seeking unique topics and should topics overlap, a faculty member with a duplicate topic will be contacted to submit another proposal.
If you are interested
in presenting at the faculty forum, please complete the form
and submit it to organizers as soon as possible. You will
receive an email confirming receipt of your proposal within
2-3 days. Within one week, authors will then receive an email
accepting or rejecting their proposals. |
