- A Plain
English Handbook – published by the Security
Exchanges Commission in the United States, this online
document, though a bit long at over 80 pages, is a great
guide to writing simply and informatively about
business. Meant for SEC documents, but universally
helpful.
- “Elements of Style” by William Strunk,
Jr. Considered the seminal book on English grammar and style, it’s available online in its entirety. Good for a primer on clear, concise writing.
