Transportation

• Upon arrival at Dubai International Airport, representatives of hotels can be found in the arrivals area before the exit. If you have made arrangements to be picked up from the airport, the hotel representative will wait for you with a sign that has your name on it.
• If you have made arrangements for the Marhaba meet & greet service, your hostess will accompany you to the “Meeting Point” outside the arrivals area, close to the taxi stand.
• Taxis can be found 24 hours outside the arrivals area. You need local currency to pay for the taxi. Bank ATM machines can be found within the arrivals area, as well as a currency exchange agent.
• Delegates who stay at the AUSACE 07 official hotels will be transported to and from the Zayed University campus on a conference shuttle (8 a.m. departure from hotels - Novotel/Ibis and Coral Deira each morning).  Delegates who stay at other hotels will need to provide their own transportation to and from pick up points or the campus.  Note that the campus is located approximately 40 km from the city center, and that taxis from the campus may be difficult to secure.
• Details of transportation from hotels to the Park Hyatt Hotel on Saturday October 27 for the official opening ceremony and dinner will be posted here in the near future.
• Transportation by conference shuttle will also be provided from the Zayed University campus and/or official hotels to various locations in Dubai as per the social program of the conference. Details will be posted here in the near future.
• Delegates who choose to travel independently can use different taxi companies that operate outside the three official hotels and in many parts of the city. Taxis can also be called by the hotel concierge. All licensed taxis in Dubai have meters. Starting meter charge is 3.0 dirhams (3.50 after 10:00 p.m.) and the running meter charge is 1.60 dirhams every one kilometer.
